BFM at Tallinn University hosted a full-day workshop focused on exploring the future of the Estonian film industry through practical foresight tools and methods. The event brought together participants from across the sector to collaboratively examine emerging trends and strategic challenges shaping the industry.
Rather than discussing the future in abstract terms, participants actively engaged in hands-on foresight exercises. The workshop enabled them to share perspectives on how the sector may evolve, identify weak signals and emerging trends, and experiment with internationally used strategic foresight tools. The aim was to support informed, future-proof decision-making and encourage meaningful, long-term development within the industry.
Throughout the day, participants explored possible scenarios and speculative futures, developed actionable insights to support industry strategy, and gained practical tools applicable to their organisations and professional work.
