Courses for Students
At BFM, we are committed to fostering an entrepreneurial mindset at all levels of education. Below are some of the courses we offer to our students, focusing specifically on entrepreneurship as well as providing essential contextual knowledge.
Ideepesa 2.0 is looking for ideas to develop
Tallinn University’s pre-incubation programme “Ideepesa” 2.0 is starting again in the Spring/Summer 2026 semester.
Some of the changes we have made to the programme are:
1) The programme will be fully in English;
2) The programme will rotate with the ideas it is focusing on to develop from institute to institute each semester;
3) The programme will collect the ideas (in pre-seed stage) to develop prior to the start of the semester.
This upcoming semester, the institute “Ideepesa” 2.0 is focusing on is the Baltic Film, Media and Arts School of Tallinn University. We have already found 2 external experts to have their pre-seed stage ideas developed and are looking for 2-3 ideas from researchers/1st or 2nd level students from the Baltic Film, Media and Arts School of Tallinn University to develop in the programme.
“Pre-incubation programme “Ideepesa” 2.0. This is a pre-incubation programme aimed at 1st and 2nd level students in higher education who want to actively engage in entrepreneurship development, but need basic knowledge and support in the process of getting from idea development to the pre start-up phase (seed phase). On the course you will learn both entrepreneurship theory and do practical tasks where you will get help from our team of mentors. Participants will be able to work in a group on a selected idea, developing it into a business phase that could take part in a hackathon or an idea competition at the end of the programme. Tallinn University LIFE’s project “Pre-incubation Programme “Ideepesa” is aimed at enthusiastic students who are interested in business development but still need basic knowledge and practical experience to work on an idea to reach the start-up stage. Throughout the project, participants will develop innovative ideas through group work, where collaboration with students from different fields will create opportunities for an interdisciplinary and creative approach. The project will also use the principles of co-creation, which brings together expertise and experience from different disciplines and also provides essential support in identifying problems, considering and choosing different solutions, and implementing and evaluating the impact of an innovative solution. Participants will be provided with classic practical tasks in the pre-incubation process, with mentoring from Tallinn University’s team, and also external experts in the field of (impact/creative) entrepreneurship. At the end of the project, students will have the opportunity to present their start-up idea in front of a panel of experts at Tallinn University. In addition, project participants will gain valuable experience in group work, co-creation and innovation (e.g. social) development.”
The programme will be published for registration on 18.01.2026 so the ideas should be included in the programme between 18.01.2026-25.01.2026 the absolute latest.
